Heard learned counsels for the parties.

Learned counsel for the State challenges the maintainability of the writ petition primarily on the ground that earlier writ petitions filed on the same cause of action have been disposed of by this Court.

At this stage learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner does not intend to proceed with the matter any further.

In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution.
