Petitioner was aggrieved by the mode and manner in which Singur Police Station Case No. 181 of 2021 dated 01.07.2021 was progressing.

According to the petitioner there were many accused persons. Inspite of that the police authorities have frustrated whole of the process of investigation and as such he has approached this court for getting information regarding the progress of the present stage of investigation.

Learned advocate appearing for the state has submitted a report. Report reflects that the police authorities on completion of investigation submitted Singur Police Station Final Report as not charge

sheeted for want of evidence vide no. 117 of 2024 dated 19.04.2024.

Petitioner complains that till date he has not been informed regarding the outcome of the investigation.

Having considered the same, I direct the learned Magistrate in seisin of the proceedings arising out of Singur Police Station Case No. 181 of 2021 dated 01.07.2021, would on an application under section 173(8) of the Code of Criminal Procedure being filed at the instance of the present petitioner, would notify the state authorities and thereafter decide the fate of further investigation in connection with the instant case.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 27095 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
