Heard learned Advocates for the parties.

Petitioner contends that he had not committed rape. He renews his prayer for bail.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the evidence of the victim girl. Petitioner was present with co-accused Babusona who had committed rape on the victim.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
