1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner's application for transfer on medical ground is pending consideration at the end of the school authority from September, 2022.

3. The petitioner presses for transfer.

4. It appears that a considerable period of time have elapsed from the date the application for transfer was filed.

5. In view of the above, the instant writ petition stands disposed of with the observation that it will be open for the petitioner to file fresh offline application seeking transfer disclosing ground for the same.

6. If such application is made the same shall be considered by the head of the institution in accordance with the prevailing transfer rules and if the prayer of the petitioner is allowed then necessary steps to forward the application of the petitioner to the District Inspector of Schools in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

7. If the Chief Medical Officer of Health certifies in favour of the petitioner, then necessary steps shall be taken by the District Inspector of Schools to immediately forward the application of the petitioner to the West Bengal Central School Service Commission for taking consequential steps in the matter in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of all documents from the District Inspector of Schools.

8. The fate of the petitioner's application shall be made known to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

9. Suspension of the Utsashree portal shall not stand in the way of the respondents in taking steps in terms of the order passed hereinabove.

10. The writ petition stands disposed of.

11. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Amrita Sinha, J.)
