1. Petitioner contends he is in custody for two years. He contends there is no progress in trial. He prays for bail.

2. Learned lawyer for the State contends trial is in progress and two witnesses have been examined.

3. We have considered the materials on record. 602.5 kgs. of ganja were recovered from the petitioner. His bail prayer was rejected earlier on merits.

4. Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail at this stage.

5. We direct the trial Court to conclude trial as expeditiously as possible preferably within one year from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournments.
