Matter is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner and the State respondents.

Petitioner's father was working under concerned Block Development Officer as Operator-cumMechanic. 3.

After hearing the learned advocates, it appears that petitioner's father was a Government employee who died-in-harness. Petitioner has made an application for appointment on compassionate ground and it is contended on behalf of the petitioner that his representation for appointment on compassionate ground is not being considered by the concerned respondent authorities.

In view of aforesaid scenario, it appears that writ petition at this stage is not maintainable before this Court and the same stands dismissed.

However, this order shall not preclude the

petitioner to approach West Bengal Administrative Tribunal on the selfsame cause of action.
