The petitioner/bank is aggrieved by the fact that Cyber Crime Police Station, Bidhannagar has not unfrozen the account that was not found a necessary part of the trial. The trial has been completed and the accused has been convicted. The said bank account in which the petitioner claims entitlement to sums of money, does not feature in the trial.

The Cyber Crime Police Station has filed a report dated 17.04.2023 which is taken on record. The police have not found the need to keep the said account frozen any further.

In those circumstances, the SBI Account No.

20096685313 (IFSC: SBIN0006993) standing in the name of Rose Mary Vahneichawng Ralte at

Diakkawn, Kolasib, Mizoram, PIN-796081 shall be unfrozen immediately.

The petitioner/bank shall be entitled to raise its claim in respect of the sums lying in the credit balance of the account.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

6.

There shall be no order as to costs.

7.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
