The police case was registered on December 9, 2012 with the police filing charge sheet therein in 2013. There is an issue of long absconsion of the petitioner. The allegations as against the petitioner are in relation to heinous crime.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 5034 of 2023 is dismissed.
