Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 314 days and the evidence of the victim has already been concluded.

Learned advocate for the defacto-complainant opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the accused is a married person.

Learned advocate for the State produces the case diary and refers to the statement under Section 183 of the BNSS as also the medical report.

I have taken into account the evidence of the victim and I am of the view that further detention of the present petitioner is unwarranted.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Allowed.

Accordingly, the petitioner viz, Pratik @ Pathik @ Prathik Biswas shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand only), with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Learned Judge, Specia lCourt under POCSO Act, Krishnagar, Nadia.

If on bail, the petitioner shall also make himself physically available on each and every date so fixed by the learned trial court and shall not leave the district of Nadia without prior intimation to the learned trial court. The learned Special Court/trial court would be at liberty to impose additional conditions, if any, as it deems fit and proper for ensuring further appearance of the present petitioner.

Accordingly, CRM(M) 2470 of 2025 is allowed.
