The petitioners have approached this Court with number of prayers amongst which one of the prayers is that they complained to Harishchandrapur Police Station dated 12.10.2024 which was not addressed or acted upon.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Harishchandrapur Police Station Case No. 987/2024 dated 21.11.2024 has been registered for investigation. The alternate prayer of the petitioner regarding quashing of the FIRs which have been registered against them at this stage is not gone into as the police authorities are progressing with the investigation of the said cases.

So far as the present case is concerned, which has been registered, the police authorities

will effectively investigate the case, take into account all the previous information which has been furnished before Harishchandrapur Police Station at the behest of the present petitioners and arrive at its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 27140 of 2024 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
