1. The petitioner submits that the private respondents are resisting the petitioner in harvesting the ripe paddy. Complaint was lodged before the police but steps have not been taken pursuant thereto.

2. Learned Advocate representing the respondent authority draws attention of this Court to the order dated 25th August, 2023 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in CPAN 713 of 2023 in WPA 4356 of 2023 wherein the petitioner was granted liberty to visit the police station for ascertaining the costs to be deposited.

Upon depositing of costs, the S.P. was directed to consider, through the Hingalganj Police Station, the security to be deployed to enable the petitioner to reside peacefully in his house.

3. According to the State respondents, the petitioner did not visit the police station as per the liberty granted by the Court. On the contrary, the petitioner submits that the petitioner visited the police station but the costs required to be deposited was not intimated.

4. It appears that a further representation was filed by the petitioner through post in September, 2023. The same is alleged to be kept pending.

5. In line with the direction passed by this Court on 25th August, 2023, the petitioner is granted liberty to visit the Hingalganj Police Station. The police is directed to take steps in terms of this direction passed by the Court on 25th August, 2023 and intimate the petitioner the costs that may be required to be deposited.

6. It will be open for the petitioner to visit the police station within 48 hours. The police shall intimate the petitioner the costs to be deposited within one week thereafter.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.
