Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the present police complaint is a counterblast to the police complaint lodged by the sister of the petitioner against the de facto complainant and her family. Other co-accuseds were enlarged on bail by the jurisdictional Court.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that the petitioner is the husband. The police complaint was lodged within three years of marriage.

There are materials in the case diary implicating the petitioner.

Other co-accuseds were arrested.

The police complaint was lodged within three years of marriage.

The allegations against the petitioner cannot be said to be omnibus and general in nature.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 5699 of 2022 is dismissed.
