Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 2 years 4 months and has been implicated on the basis of very weak pieces of evidence. It has also been contended that out of 20 witnesses, only four witnesses have been examined till date. So far as the witness, who is implicating the present petitioner, is concerned, is evading the process of law. Learned advocate appearing for the State has produced the case diary and also relied upon the material which exposes the complicity of the present petitioner. Having regard to the materials which are present in the case diary, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Learned Trial Court would consider the period of detention of the petitioner and according to its roster, fix at least one schedule in a month consisting of three dates so that there is progress of the trial.

A senior officer of the police in the rank of Additional S.P. would monitor the case so that the witnesses are available on the date so fixed.

The application for bail, being CRM (M) 2475 of 2025, is, thus, disposed of.

Learned advocate appearing for the State is directed to communicate this order to the learned Trial Court as also to the superior officer of the police.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
