This is an application pending since 2017. The instant application has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, seeking quashing of the proceedings of C.R. case no. 464 of 2016 dated 25.2.2016 under section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

This matter is running in the list for some days, but no one appears on behalf of the petitioner on call, no accommodation sought for. It indicates that the petitioner is no more interested to proceed with the instant case. Accordingly, CRR 3771 of 2017 is dismissed for default.

Consequently, the application being CRAN 1/2018(Old CRAN 318/2018) is thus disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
