The petitioner being a B. Ed. College has prayed for renewal of affiliation for the session 2023-24 which has not been granted till date by the concerned authority of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University which triggered the present writ petition.

The learned advocates representing the petitioner College and the University are heard today when an order dated 8th November, 2023 passed by a Co-ordinate bench on a writ petition being WPA 25856

of 2023 (Dr. B.C. Roy College of Education & Ors.

Vs.

Baba Saheb Ambedkar University & Ors.) is placed before this Court. It has been submitted by the learned advocate representing the parties that if similar order is passed then steps can be taken by the concerned respondent authorities for granting renewal of affiliation in favour of the petitioner College.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties and on perusal of the order dated 8th November, 2023 passed by the Co-ordinate bench in the writ petition being WPA 25856 of 2023, this Court directs the concerned authority of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University to disclose the deficiencies which the petitioner College is presently having or which the petitioner College is presently suffering by day after tomorrow to the said College and on receipt of such communication from the University, the petitioner College shall take steps for removal of such deficiencies. Upon removing such deficiencies, the petitioner College shall communicate the same to the concerned authority of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University and the

said University in its turn shall dispose of the application of the petitioner College for renewal of affiliation for the period 2023-24 within ten days thereafter and a reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner College.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
