1. Diamond Harbour Police Station has filed a further report dated 5th June, 2023 along with the Forensic Science Laboratory, Kolkata. The same are taken on record.

2. Let a copy of the same be handed over to the Counsel for the petitioner.

3. This Court is of the view that nothing further remains to be investigated in the matter.

4. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to approach this Court afresh on the selfsame cause of action, if any further scientific evidence can be unearthed as regards the cause of death. The petitioner may apply to the Phone Service Provider for the call records of his deceased son's mobile number. The service provider shall provide all details including calls made, tower locations and the contents of the said mobile.

5. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
