Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has a valid drug licence on the basis of which he had been purchasing medicine and selling the same. Petitioner has been implicated on the accusations of recovery of 200 bottles of choco cough syrup and 200 bottles of monogold cough syrup Earlier certain documents were enclosed.

The investigating officer has submitted a report through Mr. Anand Keshari, learned advocate appearing for the State which reflects that the drug licence of the present petitioner is valid. However, the shop room which was shown at the time of obtaining the licence has been vacated In view of the purchases having been made in respect of

a valid licence and the quantum of seizure which is involved in the present case, I am of the view that further detention of the petitioner is unwarranted. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed.

Consequently, the petitioner, namely, Rajibul Mondal shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned Judge, Special Court, under NDPS Act-cum-learned Additional Sessions Judge, 5th Court, Berhampore, Murshidabad. Since the investigation is continuing, the petitioner shall meet with the investigating officer once in a week as and when called for till modify by the learned special court.

Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1515 of 2025 is allowed. Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
