dismissed that similarly placed accused persons have all been released on bail but the petitioner has been detained as he came to know of the case at the later stage.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner was absconding and contributed to the delay. In spite of the same, out of 19 witnesses, 15 witnesses have already been examined.

Having considered that the case is at the final stages, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. However, learned trial court would, within a period of four months from the next date so fixed, conclude the evidence of the prosecution witness. Accordingly, CRM(M) 2484 of 2025 is dismissed.

Learned advocate for the State would communicate this order to the learned trial court.
