Abdus Salam ...for the Petitioner Mr. Arindam Mondal Mr. Sayan Datta ...for the State Ms. Koyeli Bhattacharyya Mr. Bibek Dutta Ms. Keya Panja ...for W.B.B.S.E Mr. Malay Dhar (Via VC) Mr. Bhaskar Sengupta ...for Respondent No.8 By presenting this writ petition, inter alia, petitioner who is going to participate in Madhyamik Examination, 2025 has prayed for correction of Registration Certificate which was issued in favour of him when he was studying in Class-IX in another school. It needs to be recorded here that petitioner is a student of Class-X who is minor and is represented by his mother.

In the writ petition, prayer is also made to permit the student to participate in the ensuing Madhyamik Examination, 2025.

Ms. Koyeli Bhattacharyya, learned advocate representing West Bengal Board of Secondary Education on instruction submits that Registration Certificate was issued in favour of the student while he was studying in the previous school in Class-IX. It is also submitted that

enrollment is complete so far the student is concerned and he will be permitted to participate in the ensuing Madhyamik Examination, 2025 on issuance of admit card. It is contended on behalf of the Board that Registration Certificate was issued incorporating name of the previous school where student was studying in Class-IX but due to change of school, all other testimonials relating to participation of the petitioner in Madhyamik Examination, 2025 shall be issued incorporating name of the present school of the student. In view of such submission made on behalf of the Board, no further order needs be passed in this writ petition and the writ petition stands disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
