Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for three years nine months and is similarly situated as the other accused persons who have been granted bail. On the other hand learned advocate for the State draws the attention of the Court to the evidence of the doctor and also submits that the evidence of the Investigating Officer is in progress. Since the case is at the final stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage. However, the learned trial Court would put in efforts so that the verdict is pronounced within a period of three months. Accordingly, CRM (M) 2487 of 2025 is dismissed.
