This matter appears for correction.

In the order dated January 4, 2024 the Insurance Company was directed to pay the award amounting to Rs.61,04,400/- along with 6% interest per annum. The Insurance Company is specifically directed to deposit the award within six weeks.

It appears that the Insurance Company has already deposited the statutory amount of Rs.25,000/- vide OD Challan No.3188 dated 22.12.2023. The amount must have carried some interest.

The office of the learned Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta is directed to refund the same together with interest to the Insurance Company.

This order shall be made part of the order dated January 5, 2024.

The other portion of the order remains unaltered. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. ( Subhendu Samanta, J.)
