Affidavit-of-service filed in court today be kept on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite all formalities having been complied with by the petitioner, electricity connection is not being given to the petitioner by the WBSEDCL.

Learned counsel for the WBSEDCL submits that seven poles have been installed and all requisite formalities for giving connection to the petitioner are already under way.

It is expected that the connection shall be given and activated in favour of the petitioner within a fortnight from date, subject to compliance of all further formalities, if left to be done, by the petitioner.

Accordingly, WPA 25962 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL positively to activate the electricity connection of the petitioner by February 2, 2024 by acting on a server copy of this order without insisting upon prior production of a certified copy.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
