Mr. Keshari, learned advocate appearing for the State has filed a report prepared by the Superintendent of Baruipur Central Correctional Home. Let the report be kept with the record. The report reflects that the appellant has served out the sentence and was released after expiry of his sentence (along with remission which he has earned).

Learned advocate appearing for the appellant submits that the appellant as such is not interested to pursue the appeal on merits.

Consequently, CRA 626 of 2012 is dismissed.

Pending connected application, if any, is disposed of. Department is directed to return the lower court records to the jurisdictional court immediately.
