For the Petitioner Mr. Arijit Ganguly, Mr. Iqbal Kabir, Advocates ... ...For the State Daughter of the victim recorded a statement under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code where, she implicates the petitioner before us in torturing the victim and asking the victim to commit suicide on repeated occasions. She stated that, once, she and the victim were thrown out of the matrimonial home of the victim by the petitioner. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 5044 of 2023 is dismissed.
