Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners challenges the order dated 09.08.2023. Learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court, Katwa, Purba Bardhaman in Criminal Revision No. 168 of 2019 was of the opinion that as the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Katwa in connection with Ketugram Police Station Case No. 14 of 2010 has completed the prosecution evidence and thereafter fixed date for examination of the accused persons under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal, no interference should be made in respect of the issues so canvassed.

I have considered the reasons so assigned by the learned revisional court and its findings. Having regard to the fact that the criminal case was instituted in the year 2010 and more than 13 years have expired, I am of the view that the order so passed by the Learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court, Katwa, Purba Bardhaman do not call for any interference.

The petitioners would be at liberty to take up the issues if any at the time of final hearing of the case. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 4443 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
