For the petitioner Mr. Arjun Kumar Roy, Mr. Prantik Garai ... for the respondent no. 3 Ms. Susmita Saha Dutta, Mr. Niladri Saha ... for the respondent nos. 1 and 2 The present writ application has been preferred praying for direction upon the respondent no. 1 and 2 to conduct fresh verification process for the purpose of recognition of Trade Union functioning under the respondent no. 3 having majority status.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 1 and 2 submits that the respondents are ready and willing to conduct a fresh verification process as prayed for by the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing for the Steel Authority of India, respondent no. 3 submits that other than the petitioner there are four other trade unions who have not been made party in the present proceeding.

Considering the submissions and the materials on record, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the respondent no. 1 and 2 shall conduct a fresh verification process for the purpose of recognition of trade union, functioning under the respondent no. 3, having majority status.

It is made clear that all other trade unions who meet the said requirement shall also be considered in the said verification process. All endeavour be made to complete the verification process within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, WPA 27274 of 2024 stands disposed of.
