The contents of the writ petition reflect that there is matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and the respondent no.5 herein. The present grievance of the petitioner is that two minor children have been taken away by the wife and they have been kept at a place for which the petitioner being the father is not able to meet the children as well as discharge his function as a father of the children. There are other allegations against the wife which have not been pressed before this Court. Having considered the anxiety expressed by the petitioner and that the police authorities presently do not have anything to do as no cognizable offence has been complained of, I grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional civil/criminal court with prayers for appropriate relief either for visitation right of the children or for recovery of the children.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 27284 of 2024 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
