This Court by the order dated November 25, 2025 has directed the vice-chancellor of the St. Xavier's University, Kolkata to consider and dispose of the prayer of the father of the petitioner to condone the shortfall in attendance of the petitioner in the 3rd year of B.Com (Hons.), Commerce and Management Course.

Mr. Parthasarathi Sengupta, learned senior advocate for the University submits that in terms of the said order the vice-chancellor of the said University has disposed of the said representation and has communicated his decision to the father of the petitioner under his letter dated November 27, 2025. He files the copy of the said letter; let it be kept with the record. The prayer of the petitioner has been rejected with a reasoned order, this Court is not inclined to interfere with it. Consequently, W.P.A. 26889 of 2025 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
