Heard the learned lawyers for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses disclose involvement of the petitioners in subjecting the victim-housewife to torture. She committed suicide within four months of marriage.

In view of the gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected.
