Jannat Ul Firdous ....for the petitioner Mr. Souvik Sarkar ...for the respondent no.5 The petitioner claims that his grand daughter from his deceased daughter has been taken away from his custody and kept in Amar Bari J.J. Home, Digambarpur Angikar under Dholahat PS.

It is submitted that the said grand daughter Shreya Halder is an eyewitness to the murder of her mother Parbati Haldar.

The death of Parbati Haldar is pending investigation before the SHO Govindpuri and Deputy Commissioner of Police, Pocket A, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi. The matter is pending before the Metropolitan Magistrate, South East, Saket Court, Delhi.

The Kulpi Police Station has confirmed the fact that the minor daughter has stated that her mother was pushed from the terrace of her house by her father.

The Child Welfare Committee before whom the matter is pending shall be appropriately apprised of by the Kulpi Police Station of the evidence and recollection of facts by the minor Shreya Haldar. The petitioner may take appropriate steps before the Child Welfare Commission.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
