1. Leave is granted to learned advocate for the petitioner to correct the cause-title.

2. Petitioner renews his prayer for grant of bail.

3. Petitioner is the husband of the victim.

4. Charges as against the petitioner were framed.

5. Post-mortem report of the victim suggests that the death was due to effects of hanging ante-mortem in nature

6. Injury column of the post-mortem report speaks of one noncontinuous ligature mark with no other injury except the ligature mark was detected on the body of the victim.

7. Considering the period of detention and the fact that the police filed charge-sheet, the nature of the incident and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

8. Accordingly, we direct that the petitioner, namely, Saidul Islam @ Sahidul Sk. @ Sohidul Sk. @ Sohidul Islam shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Lalbagh, Murshidabad. The petitioner shall appear before the trial Court on each and every date of substantive hearing subject to the provisions of Section 317 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 / Section 355 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and shall not intimidate the witnesses and/or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever.

9. In the event the petitioner fails to comply with any of the conditions stipulated above, the trial Court shall be at liberty to cancel the bail in accordance with law without further reference to this court.

The application for bail being CRM (DB) 3831 of 2024 is, thus, disposed of.
