Heard learned advocates appearing for the parties. By this writ petition, petitioner has challenged the impugned notices dated 14th November, 2022 being Annexure P-2 to the writ petition by which petitioner was asked to pay the demand in question and also asked to appear before the Tax Recovery Officer on 2nd December, 2022. Instead of complying with the aforesaid notices of appearance, petitioner has filed this writ petition on 5th December, 2022.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, I am not inclined to interfere with the aforesaid impugned notices and am only extending the time for appearance before the said authority by 10 days from date. Petitioner is also at liberty to make appropriate

representation if it so wishes and the same may be considered by the authority concerned in accordance with law.

With this observation and direction, this writ petition being WPA 26973 of 2022 is disposed of. (Md. Nizamuddin, J.)
