Petitioner submits he has been falsely implicated. He prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Co-accused Soumen Mondal along with unknown person came to the spot and fired at Soumen Mondal's father resulting in bullet injury. Soumen Mondal has been arrested and he disclosed the involvement of the petitioner. Petitioner did not join investigation and absconded.

Though charge-sheet is filed further investigation with regard to role of the petitioner in the murder is necessary.

Hence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
