The petitioners are not represented despite service of notice. The matter has been running in the list for quite sometime and the petitioners do not appear to be interested in proceeding in the matter any further. The respondents are represented and it is unanimously submitted by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents that as the matter pertains to

lease of a pond in the year 2015, the matter has become infructuous due to efflux of time and nothing remains in this writ petition.

In view of the said fact and also as the petitioners do not appear to be interested in proceeding with this writ petition any further, there is no point in keeping this writ petition pending.
