This is an application for expeditious disposal of M. Case No. 424 of 2021 arising out of an application under Section 125 of the Cr.P.C. filed by the petitioner pending before the Learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Barasat.

On perusal of averment made in the instant revision and having heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner this Court is of the view that the instant revision can be disposed of here and now with the assistance of the learned Advocate for the state. Accordingly, Mr. Pinak Kumar Mitra, learned Advocate is requested to assist this Court on behalf of the State.
Appointment of Mr. Pinak Kumar Mitra learned advocate be regularized by the learned Legal Remembrancer, Government of West Bengal. 3.
It is submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that marriage of the parties was solemnized on 1st March, 2021 according to Hindu Rites and Customs. After her marriage she was subjected to torture both physically and mentally by her husband and in-laws. The petitioner's in-laws ill treated her and therefore on 14th May, 2021 she left her matrimonial home. Thereafter the petitioner filed a written complaint before the Baguiati police station under section 498A/406 of the IPC. Subsequently the petitioner made the above application under section 125 of the Cr.P.C. on 22nd July, 2021 and date was fixed for hearing on 22nd February, 2022. The husband of the petitioner took unnecessary adjournments on several dates and next date has been fixed on 24th January, 2023.

Under such circumstances, petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of the case.

In view of such circumstances, the instant revision is disposed of directing the Learned Court below to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments. 6.
With the above direction the instant revision is disposed of. (Bibek Chaudhuri, J.)
