Petitioner submitted matrimonial dispute has been settled. On such premise, he prayed for bail. In the light of the aforesaid submission, we directed further statement of the victim to be recorded before Magistrate.

Statement of the victim does not endorse the aforesaid submission of the petitioner.

Under such circumstances and as injury on the victim is grievous, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
