Petitioner submits he has been falsely implicated. He did not play any role with regard to loan advanced by 'Utkarsh Small Finance Bank'. He prays for anticipatory bail. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements recorded during investigation show petitioner and co-accused in collusion with officials had dishonestly utilized identity cards of innocent villagers and misappropriated a sum over Rs.3 crores. Investigation is in progress and custodial interrogation is necessary to unravel the ramifications of the conspiracy and recover stolen cash.

Hence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
