SMAT-17 of 2016 12.05.2023 Item no.7 Court No.50 Mr Soumya Banerjee and Ms Sucheta Banerjee, Learned Advocates appear for the sole appellant. Perused the office reports dated 11.05.2023, 15.03.2023, 23.02.2023, the orders dated 24.02.2023, 16.03.2023, passed by the Hon‟ble Court.

In the order dated 16.03.2023, the Hon‟ble Court was pleased to direct interalia, "Time to remove the defects in terms of our earlier order dated 24th February, 2023 is peremptorily extended by three weeks from date, in default, the appeal shall stand dismissed without any further reference to this Court".

It appears from the office report dated 11.05.2023 that the other defects as stated in the Hon‟ble Court‟s order dated 24.02.2023 have not yet been removed. The department has placed the matter before the Lawazima Court for recording of „Formal order of dismissal‟ of the appeal.
