Petitioner no. 1 is a self-financed B. Ed. College at Hooghly.

Petitioner no. 1 suggests that every year online admission is made in three-phases, but for the academic year 2022 to 2024 the university has allowed admission only for one time.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that an order was passed in WPA 25990 of 2022 (Subhas Chandra Basu B. Ed. Training College & Anr. vs. the State of West Bengal & Ors.) in the identical facts. He prays that similar order may be passed in this writ petition also.

Mr. Amitabrata Roy appearing for the University does not oppose such prayer.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the petitioner to make a representation before the Registrar, Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education within a period of ten days from date. Such representation may be considered by the University

within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order. A reasoned order should be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereafter.

Accordingly, WPA 26996 of 2022 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
