The petitioner is aggrieved that Uluberia Police Station has not taken any steps in respect of a complaint dated August 18, 2022.

The Uluberia Police Station is represented and has filed a report dated 26.06.2023, which is taken on record.

It appears from the report that an FIR being Uluberia PS Case No. 251 of 2022 dated 08.08.2022 under Sections 420/406 of the IPC has been registered and investigation is on. Statements of some witnesses have been

recorded. Notices under Section 91 of the Cr. P.C. have been issued to the Bandhan Bank.

It is expected that the Bandhan Bank and all persons, summoned by the Uluberia Police Station, shall co-operate in the investigation. 5.

It is directed that the investigation into the said FIR be completed within a period of 2 months from date, mandatorily and positively. 6.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

8.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
