The petitioners claim themselves to be the eligible candidate for appointment as Primary School Teachers in the additional post, after condoning the prescribed age limit therefor. To this effect, they have written letter with similar prayer to the respondent Chairman, Hooghly District Primary School Council, that is dated September 18, 2012. They are yet to receive response from the said authority. Hence, this writ petition is filed, seeking adequate relief in terms of prayer (a) alternatively in prayer (b), the petitioners have prayed that they may be appointed as the Primary School Teachers.

None appears for the State respondent, in spite of service of notice.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the records, the Court finds it proper to dispose of this writ petition by directing the Respondent Chairman, Hooghly District Primary

School Council to consider petitioners' representation dated September 18, 2012, and dispose of the same, by dint of a reasoned order.

In doing so, the said respondent shall allow the petitioners adequate reasonable opportunity of hearing and complete the entire exercise as above, within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of copy of this order.

With the directions as above, the writ petition is disposed of.
