1. Petitioner stands implicated in murdering his father. Petitioner is in custody for about 2 years and 7 months.

2. Trial is in progress. Out of 17 prosecution witnesses 8 were examined. Next schedule for examining the prosecution witnesses stand fixed by the learned trial Judge.

3. We request learned trial Court not to grant unnecessary adjournments to the parties and endeavour to expeditiously dispose of the trial.

4. Considering the gravity of the offence, involvement of the petitioner therein, the period of custody, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

6. CRM (DB) 4021 of 2024 is dismissed.
