Authority The present writ application has been preferred praying for direction upon the respondent/Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, D.K. Block, Sector-II, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700 091 to issue revised pension payment order commensurate to last pay drawn and release and pay the monthly pension of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the R.P.F. authority submits that the authorities are taking up the matters of all the employees serially and with their employer and the petitioner's case is also under consideration and shall be duly dealt with.

It appears from the materials on record that the petitioner joined the Tamluk Ghatal Central Cooperative Bank Limited on 31st January, 1981. He superannuated on and from 31.08.2020 after almost 39 years and till date he has not received the pension in respect of the enhanced wages as per direction of Hon'ble Supreme Court in The Employees Provident Fund Organization & Etc. Versus Sunil Kumar B. &

Etc. in SLP (C) Nos. 8658-8659 of 2019 dated 04.11.2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has placed that a copy of the joint option form dated 21.04.2023 submitted by the petitioner. It appears that almost 2 years have passed since filing of the application. Accordingly, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the respondent/P.F. authority will consider the option exercised by the petitioner herein as per rules and dispose of the same in accordance with law on hearing the petitioner, by passing a reasoned order within 90 days from the date of this order.

A copy of the order shall be served upon the petitioner herein.

Writ petition stands disposed of.

Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, being given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
