On behalf of the WBSEDCL, it is submitted that they have no objection in providing such electricity connection. However, there are disputes which have been raised by the respondents being the adjacent land owners.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, WPA 27034 of 2025 stands disposed of by directing WBSEDCL to provide a fresh electricity connection after compliance with all statutory formalities and making necessary payments in accordance with law.

Liberty is granted to the WBSEDCL to avail of police assistance, any costs for police assistance is to be exclusively borne by the petitioner.

The above exercise is to be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a civil suit in accordance with law for any land dispute, if so advised.

It is clarified that there shall be no encroachment on the land belonging to the private respondent.
