DDI- Darjeeling, DD, Criminal Investigation Department, West Bengal dated 3rd December, 2022 has filed a report stating that as many as five persons arrested by the Investigating Officer of the case. The same is taken on record.

It appears from the said report that FRT No. 1021 of 2021 dated 14th September, 2021 has been filed in respect of the missing persons. It further appears from the said report that police have reserved their rights to reopen investigation if any further clues are detected. It also appears from the said report that the matter is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Jalpaiguri and fixed on 21st February, 2023.

In such circumstances, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioner to take steps in respect of the FRT No. 1021 of 2021 dated 14th September, 2021.

There will be no order as to costs.
