Shehabuddin ... for the State - Respondent(s) The petitioner complains that his parents being the senior citizens are abused and threatened at the hands of relations who are the private respondents.

There are two sets of complaints:

first, regarding abusing and threatening to the petitioner's parents; secondly, depriving the petitioner's father of his business

dues.

The petitioner lodged complaints with the local police station as also the superior officer of the police authorities.

However, till date, no action has been taken according to the petitioner.

So far as the petitioner's parents, being the senior citizens who are abused and threatened by the private respondents are concerned, I direct that the Inspectorin-charge of Burdwan Police Station will engage a lady police personnel, who, on every alternate day, would visit the residence and seek information as to whether any harassment and/or abuse and/or humiliation is faced by the petitioner's parents. Such arrangement will continue for a period of four weeks.

The petitioner is advised to approach the learned jurisdictional criminal and civil court for the relief(s) claimed for,

in the meantime, under the relevant provisions of law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 27371 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Since affidavits are not invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
