Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 10th February, 2022 and charge has already been framed by the learned special court.

A copy of the revisional application was directed to be served upon Mr. Madhusudan Sur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. His appearance may be regularized by the concerned Authorities in due course. Learned advocate for the State is directed to inform his counterpart in the learned special court so that he would communicate with the Office of the Superintendent of Police who is maintaining a register pursuant to the order passed in CRR 3363 of 2022.

The Office of the Superintendent of Police will communicate to all the witnesses of the Police Department who have been made witnesses in this case to be present on the dates so fixed before the

learned special court in connection with the instant case. No unnecessary adjournments should be granted to any of the parties.

The prosecution would ensure production of all the alamats which are required to be brought in evidence in connection with the instant case and there should not be any adjournment for nonavailability of the alamats on the dates so fixed for trial. Efforts must be taken so that the trial is concluded as expeditiously as possible, as the petitioner is in custody. The learned trial court would at least fix a schedule consisting of three dates on and from the next date of schedule as fixed in the month of February, 2023 on each and every month till the trial is concluded.

Accordingly, the present revisional application being CRR 4479 of 2022 is disposed of.
