In terms of the previous order, a communication dated 14th/15th February, 2026 of Senior Divisional Security Commissioner/ RPF/ South Eastern Railway/ Kharagpur addressed to the learned advocate representing the Union of India is placed before this Court and same is taken on record. 2.

On perusal of the report it appears that on detailed deliberation Divisional Medical Committee was of unanimous opinion that the petitioner is not fit to continue in his present medical category that is, B-1 as well as B-2 and should be provided with an alternative employment on medical ground in medical category C-1 and below in a sedentary nature of job.

Mr. Ujjal Ray, learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that steps are being taken which would permit the petitioner to join a suitable post in terms of the view expressed by Division Medical Committee on identifying a post.

Mr.

Kalyan Chakraborty, learned advocate representing the Union of India has also submitted that the recommendation of Divisional Medical Committee shall be given effect to by permitting the petitioner to join the post as it was recommended. 5.

In view of aforesaid, Court directs the concerned respondent authorities to permit the petitioner to join the post in terms of the recommendation of Divisional Medical Committee on identifying a suitable post at an early date but not later than ten

(10) weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
