The petitioner is aggrieved by the process of investigation into the FIR being Bansdroni Police Station Case No.215 dated 1st November, 2022 under Sections 120B, 420, 467, 468, 471, 474, 506 of the IPC. The Officer-in-Charge, Bansdroni Police Station has filed a report dated 28th February, 2023 and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that steps have been taken by the Bansdroni Police into the investigation and report of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation is awaited. The petitioner is yet to fully comply with the notice under Section 91 of the CrPC.

In these circumstances, Bansdroni Police shall complete the investigation into the aforesaid FIR within a period of one month from date mandatorily and positively. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
