Pursuant to the guidance of the learned Additional Government Pleader, the police authorities have taken steps.

Accordingly, prayer has been advanced before the learned ACJM Court, Lalbagh, Murshidabad for addition of section 112 of BNS in the process of investigation. The investigating authorities have also advanced prayers for cancellation of bail. In view of the directions passed on 11.12.2024 in respect of the protection to be rendered, learned ACJM, Lalbagh, Murshidabad would ensure that the provisions relating to Witness Protection Scheme, 2018 be extended to all the witnesses including the complainant of the case.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 27430 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
